Safari life
This was my first safari (Alex had already done it 6 years ago): it is indeed a fabulous experience. The best part is probably the night in your tent hearing animals in the distance or...very close to your tent.
A hyena waking you up at 2am is fun. And as for the chewing noise we heard all night, our neighbors told us we had a giraffe right next to our tent.
The landscapes in Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater were fantastic (you can notice it was not that hot)
Enfin un clin d'oeil pour tous les fans du Stade Francais !

Holidays in Tanzania
The reason why there were no updates on the blog was because we left for a 2 weeks holiday to Tanzania (for me it's weird to go on holidays when I'm already on holidays, anyway).
As we were flying above lake Victoria (you can see the town of Mwanza, site of the superb documentary 'Le Cauchemar de Darwin'), Alex was already trying to catch up on sleep.
Our first stop: Arusha to visit our friend Marc (who's in the gem business), who organised a bush BBQ for us with antelope and gnu/wildebeest meat. It was delicious.
As delicious as to watch France beat Georgia (and Italy a few days later).

I also turned 36 in the process.
And we watched the crew from French show 'Thalassa' work hard.
