Election time

The countdown is on: the Congolese elections are going ahead on Sunday and the campaign is on full speed. Candidates are touring the country and filling up stadiums and their faces are everywhere.Of course, the biggest posters are Kabila's who can afford them, at the other end the poorer candidates just have black & white A4 size taped to a wall or a tree. Marketing wise, some are trying to be creative...With only a few days to go, the locals are very excited to vote, even if some of them have lost their voting cards, but luckily enough there's a 'lost cards' wall for those.The locals are also excited to see all the foreign press & observers arriving in town, like Eva and Joa from South Africa who are staying with us.
